Our February 11th meetup has been posted on Eventbrite for a while, and sold out surprisingly quickly! Keep your eyes on the Eventbrite page, because there were a few cancellations leading up to the event that opened up spots for others who wanted to attend.
This month we’ll be hosting the meetup at ThinkShout’s new offices, located at 433 NW 4th Ave, Suite 100. The venue is a bit smaller and has a different layout, so we’re expecting to be able to fit 40 people or so. Rather than a panel format, we’ll likely be splitting into several smaller groups of 15-20 to have more of an intimate group discussion.
The topic for the month starts at the beginning of the project life cycle. We plan to discuss how PMs and producers get involved with pre-sales activities, and the roles and tasks that we perform to help shape project discovery and planning. We’ll take a look at things from the agile concept of people first, then process, then tools.
There’s time for open discussion and networking before and after again, so show up at 5:30PM to mingle. We’ll kick off the organized portion of the evening right about 6PM.
Thanks to ThinkShout for hosting this month!
