April’s meet-up on Tuesday, April 14th was hosted by Phase2 Portland in the Pearl District. This month’s topic, selected by popular demand back in December, hit home for many of our attendees from all levels of Project Management. It was: Navigating your Digital PM Career.
We broke into these three discussion groups according to industry experience:
- Getting Started in Digital PM
- Exploring Digital PM Career Paths
- Improving PM tenure and solving turnover
There was something for everyone at this event. By far the most popular group however was the getting started in Digital PM. It was great to hear everyone’s stories about their career changes, growth, and beginnings. All participants had both intriguing questions and tips for fellow members.

One best practice for building your career across all levels was networking and informational interviews. That’s why we have professional groups like this one!
